Enjoy the Excitement of Paphos Marina

The city of Paphos has plenty on offer for both tourists and residents alike to enjoy, with new developments being put into action all the time. One particular project that has been in the works for several years now is the Paphos Marina – a destination that promises to offer quite a few points of interest to its visitors.

Even though we can’t stop by and enjoy it for now, there’s still quite a lot that we know about the site and what’s to come in the future.

Where will Paphos Marina be built?

The development may not be ready just yet, but the plan is for it to be built near Peyia, in Potima (Kissonerga). This is an excellent opportunity to make the most out of the space on offer, and although there’s already quite a lot to do in the Paphos area, there’s no doubt that the marina is going to draw quite a bit of attention from tourists.

For now, people can enjoy attractions like the Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark and the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park; as well as much more. There’s no doubt that the new and rather large addition of the marina is going to become a prominent feature that most people will want to check out during their visits – and this could change how you chose to spend your time in our beautiful city.

What are the plans for the marina?

It’s quite a large-scale project that so far is aiming to be able to accommodate 1000 vessels. It’s also planned to have cruise ship docking facilities and plenty of residential and commercial real estate developments on site. With all this and more in the pipeline, the Paphos Marina is certainly going to play a role in the flow of tourism.

As you can tell, it’s not going to be a small addition by any means – and this in itself is one of the reasons why it’s such an anticipated project.

What will it offer to the Paphos Touristic area?

Aside from it being a good spot for cruise ships and a variety of vessels in general, the many commercial estate plots that Paphos Marina is hoping to host will also be an excellent opportunity for more interesting attractions to be added to the site. In fact, even after the marina itself is finished, there’s bound to be plenty of new and exciting facilities cropping up in the following years.

Whether you’ll want to buy a holiday home in one of the new residential developments or take advantage of the opportunities Paphos Marina is going to offer by investing in a new business, it’s not hard to see why so many people are interested in how this development is evolving.

When will it be finished?

There’s no way to know for sure when the Paphos Marina will be complete. The project itself has certainly had some difficulty getting off the ground due to some legal red tape, which has been a reoccurring issue for the site since 2008.

On the plus side, it is taking steps and moving forward little by little – and it might not be long until it’s truly underway, giving visitors and residents alike a chance to enjoy a brand-new part of Paphos alongside the attractions that they already know and love.

The Paphos Marina will undoubtedly be a welcome addition with plenty to offer, allowing both residents and holiday-makers alike to make the most of an array of attractions and features. The influx of tourism will certainly help toward boosting the economy too, which is yet another benefit that simply can’t be overlooked.
